SFC Welcomes Loyola H.S. Volunteers!

SFC extends an official warm welcome to three seniors from Loyola High School who will be volunteering for the month of January!

Every year, Loyola H.S. seniors spend the first month of the year volunteering at nonprofits as a part of their senior service project. SFC has been a proud host of students for many years in a row now.

Join us in welcoming our three volunteers from Loyola, Max, Jonathan, and Daniel!

Max decided to work at SFC because he wanted to work directly with the homeless population, and is hoping to make a positive impact on our guests. In his free time, Max likes to spend time with friends and play video games!

“I’m looking forward to helping out as many people as possible. I hope to learn more about the problems faced by those in need and how we can get closer to the solution,” said Jonathan. He is excited to be more involved with his local community. After graduating from Loyola, Jonathan hopes to attend college and major in aeronautics engineering.

Daniel wanted to work at SFC because he wanted to work with an organization focused on homelessness. He is excited to put smiles on our guests’ faces, and gain more work experience. This summer, Daniel hopes to spend a month in Europe before starting college!

A fun fact about out interns: they all are on the track and field team, as well as the debate team at Loyola!

Come volunteer with Max, Jonathan, and Daniel!
