Nine years ago, guests utilizing our Pantry Services captured the true spirit of the holidays and reached out to staff to express their desire to help raise funds for the programs on which they so deeply rely.

SFC staff and our pantry guests came up with the idea to hold a tamale cookoff and the winning tamales were sold throughout the holidays, with proceeds benefitting our Pantry Services.  So began TOP TAMALE.

This year all of your favorite tamales are back (chicken, pork, cheese and sweet tamales)! Now you also can purchase 8-ounce containers of our salsa verde with avocado for just $5! Our TOP TAMALE ALL STARS along with their families contribute many hours during the holidays to help make TOP TAMALE possible!

Last year was our most successful TOP TAMALE fundraiser yet selling over 400 dozen tamales!
