Kenneth Presley, a senior citizen, has been coming to our breakfast for homeless guests for several years. He also utilized our shower program and mail program. Our Resource Specialist, Thalia, began working with Kenneth in case management in early 2017 and connected him with our partner organization, People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) in September. Recently, Kenneth was finally housed at the beginning of December at an assisted living facility in La Habra!

St. Francis Center officially launched case management as part of our Resource Services for guests earlier this year. This new component of our program offerings expands our current Resource Services and connects guests with emergency shelter, permanent, supportive housing, employment opportunities, utilities and rental assistance and a variety of comprehensive services.
Our goal is to build upon our strength in hunger relief and immediate needs services and focus on providing transformational change for our guests through our new case management services.
