Please welcome the newest member of our SFC staff, Claudia Chow!
Claudia is originally from the Bay Area, and is a recent graduate of Occidental College in Los Angeles, where she majored in politics and minored in sociology. She brings with her experience working with various public and private law firms, as well as communications experience with nonprofit organizations.
Claudia’s interest in learning more about development, as well as her passion for social justice issues brought her to SFC.
“Unfortunately many residents in Los Angeles are not able to put food on the tables for themselves or their families. And so, the work of SFC is extremely important, because these meals and pantry services could be their only source of food.”
Claudia hopes that SFC will continue to be seen as a safe community space, as well as receive more exposure and recognition in Los Angeles each year.
In her spare time, Claudia enjoys dancing, hiking, and exploring the city of Los Angeles.
